Hi, I’m Catie—short for Caitlyn Lowery—and I’m the proud owner and pet stylist behind Enchanted Paws. My journey into the world of dog grooming began not just with a love for animals, but with a deep desire to work with them, to understand them, and to care for them like family.

Before picking up my first pair of grooming shears, I spent three years working at a doggie daycare. That’s where my true passion ignited. I was inspired daily by the groomers I worked alongside—their skill, their artistry, and the way they made every dog feel special. With the unwavering support of my husband, I took a leap and enrolled in the Animal Behavioral College Grooming Program while continuing to work full-time.

After completing 150 hours of hands-on training and graduating from the program, I was honored to be hired by my grooming mentor. Within six months, I was promoted to salon manager, where I took pride in ensuring every dog received not only a high-quality groom, but also kindness, patience, and compassion.

Since then, I’ve continued to grow—moving to different salons to broaden my skills and learn from others in the industry. That journey hasn’t always been easy. I’ve seen practices I don’t agree with and experienced environments that didn’t reflect the love and care our furry friends deserve. It made me realize exactly what kind of grooming space I want to create.

Enchanted Paws is my dream made real—a safe, magical, and inclusive space where every pet (and person) is treated with respect and love. The name is inspired by my deep love of fantasy stories and Dungeons & Dragons, where my husband plays the role of professional Dungeon Master. I’ve always believed in the power of imagination and enchantment—and I want every pup who walks through my door to feel like they’ve stepped into a world of wonder.

This is just the beginning of my journey. The start of my quest. And I couldn’t be more excited to take it on—BBEGs and all—one wagging tail at a time.
